I have started raising money for the leukemia patients. I had the box for a week but I barely had time to collet some change yesterday. I was walking around my house saying, " Donate money for the leukemia patients!" My sister said she had a quarter but when she looked through her backpack it wasn't there.
  I asked my other sister, but she said I don't have money. So I told her that if she did not donate I would hurt her. I was really just kidding ,but she took it seriously.  Oh well! I did collect some change. While I was cleaning I found pennies, nickels, and dimes. My box has just getting full.

Everyone is going crazy about Austin Mahone. Do you know who he is? I do, and my friend thinks he is so hot. I don't I think he has a good song though. I think he is good at singing, I just don't think he is hot. My sister also thinks he is so hot. I can't believe it. My sister was never like that, but now since Austin Mahone came out she is in love with him. 
   She always says that sooner or later I am going to start saying that he is cute, but I don't think so. Well he is a pretty good singer. His album is coming out soon, at least that is what I hear. Well at least my friend wont still be talking about One Direction, or Justin Bieber. Well HAPPY FRIDAY!! <3 :)

   Today at lunch I am taking my yearbook picture. Since I didn't take it on the day everyone else did I get to take it for free. Awesome! So if any of my classmates were wondering why I am all dressed up, it is because of the picture. I curled my hair, but I think it looks bad. I don't know. I guess I will find out when the yearbook comes out. 
    I am so nervous. What if I take a bad picture? I can't retake it. Then evryone will see my bad picture. That will be humiliating. My friend is going to go with me, so that should make me feel a little bit better. I hope. Well can anyone tell me what it was like when you took your picture? Oh well I guess I should just calm down. Well that's all. 

Yesterday the Valentine's Day dance was so awesome. If you were there you know how cool it was, but if you weren't you missed out. There was a photo booth to take pictures with your friend or valentine. They had good music too, Everone was dancing, and it looked like they were all having fun. I went to the dance with my friend. At first I didn't want to dance, but then my friend got me to dance and I really had fun. 
  We got to buy soda from the snack bar in there. They had other things like cookies,and water, but we just bought soda. After that we went to go dance. They played "Call Me Maybe", by Carly Rae Jepsen, and everyone in there was dancing even some of the teachers. It was really fun. That was the funnest dance I have been to so far.

It seems like I have a lot of projects to do when I really only have two. I have one for French which is about French history. You can write about anything in french history, like, fashion, battles, Kings, architecture, I mean you could write about anything. I am doing my project on ancient French fashion. I really like the 18th century dresses. I think they made beautiful clothes. I know some people that are doing their reports on war. and architecture, and kings. 
    Another project I have to do is an algebra project. It is called The Shrinking Dollar Project. So far I have no idea what to do. I need to get some help. If you are in my computer's class and you are in algebra, can you please explain to me the project in a comment on this blog. I think I just need to look it over again and read it slowly, maybe after that I will understand the project. Well those are my projects.

I have been sick all week. I have a runny nose and a horrible cough. I missed 4 days of school. Now I have to make up all of the work I missed these past four days. My core teacher gave me at least five pages of work. Plus now I have to finish my quizlet for science. It's okay I kind of like having a lot of homework to do, you know it really keeps me busy. I just hope my mom takes it easy on me about my chores. 
    I'm really glad I am back at school, because I get to see all of my friends. They were all greeting me nicely, asking if I was okay. This might sound crazy, but I think being at school is  far better than being stuck at home with nothing to do. Well I did have a little bit to do. I did a lot of baking. I really wanted cookies and cake, so I got out my mom's cookbook and started baking.
     It went well at first when I made some cookies, but when I tried to make a cake it went horribly wrong. It tasted good, but it just didn't look good. The instructions were very hard. My dad says I am not the baker. I am sad to say that that is true. Well I am just glad to be back

   Today at school is star day. When everyone got off of the buses the leadership club greeted us and said to find our star, and that it was somewhere on campus. It was pretty cool to go out and find our star. I don't know if we are going to use it later on, or we just looked for it just to look for it. 
       My friend could not find her's, so I helped her look for it. We looked everwhere stars were. We couldn't seem to find it. Then  when we went back to other places, we saw it on a door. I guess we weren't looking hard enough for it. 
    It was awesome what leadership did for us. They got to the school super early to make every students star. That is a lot of stars. They had to put them on walls outside when it was freezing. I hope everyone had fun finding their star.  I know I did. I hope we have this more often.

Today in science was really funny. My partner was hilarious. He kept on asking questions and saying stuff that made me laugh really hard. Then he had a purple led pencil and said look at my manly pencil. He also had another pencil that had all of the Disney princesses on it. This made me laugh a lot. He kept asking what are you laughing which made laugh more. I could not look at that pencil without bursting out laughing. 
   The science period was actually really fun. I was not bored at all. I'm not saying science is boring it's just that there is really nothing to laugh about. My partner is really funny. If you ever get him as a partner in any class you will be laughing all of the time. 

    Over the weekend I went to get my hair cut. I got layers which I have wanted since forever. I also got bangs. I was nervous that my friends wouldn't like it, but then I didn't care as long as I liked it. The actual harircut took a little longer than I expected. My aunt said that she had already cut off a lot of hair, and you couldn't even see the layers. So she kept cutting, then she got started on my bangs. The bangs were really easy they only took maybe 5 minutes.
    After I got my haircut my aunt did my hair, so I could see what it would look like. I thought it looked better than how my hair used to be. I am happy with my haircut. I wanted to cut my hair, because I wanted a different look. Today I decided to curl my hair, because as I said before I like it better that way.

'  I recently read the struggle for smarts article. I think it relates to this class, when we don't complete something of we don't do something right, we have to work on it until we have completed it or until it is right. In their class that is just what the little boy did. He kept working on the drawing until he drew it right. We also give each other feedback on our work, and in that class they said he hadn't yet done it right, which is kind of like feedback.
   It also relates to this class, because some of us in here have a hard time with certain things. When" we struggle we learn" as I heard in class. This article really relates to our class, and that is probably why our teacher had us read it.
