Writing about math didn't really help me very much. I mean all I did was
describe what I do and how to do what I do in algebra. I mean it's not like your
learning anything new you are just teaching about it.
    I am sorry if I
sound like I don't care it is just that it really didn't help me learn anything
new. Also I did not know the policy is changing. I really don't know what the
policy is though. I will try to find out though. Well I am glad that this is our
last math moday blog. FINALLY!! The blog post I will miss though besides free
write friday is core concentration.
WELL HAPPY MONDAY
EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have leaned many thing in Algebra. It has taught me about radiclas, inequalities, linear equations, and much more. I am glad I got to experience this class.
Although I learned many things I have to take this class again next year. It sucks but atleast I will already know some of the material. I have to apply myself next year though, beause I did not do so well this year. But I am ok because there is always a first time for everything.

Well today in math we were doing extra practice on square roots. We are simplifying, adding, and subtracting them. It is all a part of combining like terms. We have been doing that a lot this year.
It really isn't that hard. I really like doing the square roots. Say you have an equation like 5 square root of 2 minus 3 square root of two you would just combine like terms and get 2 square root of 2. You see it is really that simple. Now of course there are

So last week I took a test on completing the square and stuff like that, but I failed. I have been trying to study for it, but we have been so busy with CST that I have not had the time.
It is alright, because my teacher said that I could come in and get extra help in the morning, before I take the test. I am going to try to go in there for help as many days as I possibly can. I am just nervous, because CST math is tomorrow. I think I will be fine. I just have to review the lessons tonight, and focus during the test

This week in algebra we are just doing boring old test review. It is good and bad. But oh well, because we have to do it.
I think it is good , because it is helping me understand what I didn't before. The book makes the math so much easier. The instructions are easy to follow also. I am not saying the algebra teacher didn't teach the math right, it is just that I understand it more when i follow the instructions on the book.
I think it is bad, because it is super boring. All period long we do test prep, test prep, test prep. It kind of gets annoying. I would rather play algebra games. maybe we can do that as a review instead of the dumb test prep. I hope we end up doing that. I know some other people who would rather do something else rather than test prep.
Well that is all for math monday.

Today in algebra class we are doing test prep and review. We have to, because the CST is coming up and we have to be ready for the test portion.  Well at least this means that school is almost over.
I actually like doing review, because it helps me understand what I didn't before. When I look at the problems in the practice book I'm like how did I not understand this before. Well our algebra teacher us glad that we are reviewing, because he sees that we are understanding the topics more,
    WELL HAPPY MONDAY!!!!!! :) <3

Today in algebra we had a practice test. Tomorrow will be the real test. I am kind of nervous, because I haven't been to school in a week so I don't really know  the new topics added to the new test.
It alright though, because I am going to get help. I am also going to watch the algebra  videos I missed last week. I think that will be really helpful ,because they teach the lesson. Well that is all for math monday.

We all know that the equation of a line is Y=MX+B, but do you know what it stands for or how to graph it. The M represents the slope. The slope is how may times you go up or down, and how many times you go to the left or right. Here is an example of a slope, 3/4 that means I go up threes times and I go to the right 4.
The X in the equation is just what the X intercept is, you will only need to know that if yo are trying to find out what Y is. The B is the y intercept. It could be any number on the Y axis.
So if you get the equation Y= 3/4+ 6 you know that you have to mark 6 on your Y axis and go up three and right four, and keep repeating. Now you have your line.

We did a lot of math in the past semester, but there was one subject that I remember, because it was so hard. The subject was substitution and elimination with hard equations. I just did not get it. At the time I was really upset that I could not get the hang of it. I was also angry, because since I had so much trouble with it I got a C on my report card. When I told my algebra teacher he helped me, but I still didn't get it. Then I watched the videos. After that the math seemed a lot easier.
When we had to work on a practice test I understood it better. I even got a better grade. I felt good that I understood. Sometimes algebra can be hard, but if you do what you are supposed to it will be easier. Well that was my math memory from last sem

Today in algebra we had to find when these toy cars would crash. We did a lot to equations. First we found where they were first at which was 0cm. Then we found out how long it would take each of them to get to get where they needed to go. One car took 2.6 seconds to get to 100cm, and another car took 1.7 seconds to get to 400cm. After that we wrote an equation using the numbers.
Here were both of our equations P = 1.7t + 400, and P = 2.6t + 100.       We started to solve our equations following the steps you would us to solve one. When we did solve them we saw that each cars speed is . Then we combined how fast they were going and how long it took. When we did that we found out when the cars were going to crash.
