The most diffucult region to live in I think is the desert. In the desert there is no plants, or water. If you had animals it would be very hard to feed them them. Also it would be very hard for you to live, because you wouldn't have any water to drink or food to eat. I know there is some water, and palnts in oasies, but what if you don't live by one? You could move to one, but I bet you would be very tired and wouldn't want to walk if your dehydrated.
That's another thing , in the desert you know its really hot,and if you've hadn't had anything to drink you could easily become dehydrated and die. In the desert it would probably be hard for you to find shelter. I guess youcould build one. I don't think you're going to want to build one when a sandstorm might come and ruin it. Well in my opinion, the desert would provide the most hardships to live in.

September 11th 2001 was a tragic day in America's history. The Twin Towers and the Pentagon were both hit. I don't remember it because I was just a kid.  I watched the news and they were showing the videos of when the Twin Towers went down. I saw people jumping to their deaths and fire fighters arriving trying to help. When I saw those horrific things I felt like crying. It was really sad. I asked my mom about it and she told me that it was a time that America felt that anyone can come and terrorize us like that. After the 9-11 attack, people were trying to help the victims in every  way they could. Some were selling things flags and other thing to raise money for the victim's families, while others donated blood. 9-11 might have been a tragic time , but it was also a time where everyone was helping others.

On Friday my Core class did a simulation on the rise and fall of Rome. It was so fun. Now I've been asked to tell what part I would've liked to have and why. I was the Province of Gaul. It was the province that traded wool to Rome for 600 soldiers to protect Gaul. A part I would have liked is the eastern Romans. I wanted that part because they got to survive while everyone else got slaughtered by the barbarians. The simulation as I said in the title was awesome and being Gaul wasn't that bad. Although it wasn't hard to tell what part I would have liked.

Today when I awoke it was a usual day, I had to clean and walk to get  water from the well. I had to clean the clothes. While I was on my way to the well, I saw my favorite uncle. I had no idea what he had in store for me. So, before I went to the well I had to help my uncle unpack and get inside. My mom got some food ready for him. SHe told me to continue my walk to the well, so I did. When I came home my mother look worried as my uncle was telling her things I couldn't hear. I didn't want to be rude and barge inside, but then my mom called me in.
"This is it", I thought, " I'm in big  trouble now!" Horrified I walked and asked " Did I do something wrong mother?" my mother replied, "No sweetie there is something we need to talk to you about. Your uncle has come to offer you a chance to go far out in the dessert on a caravan with him." I didn't know what to say, then she told me that they would give me two days to decide if I wanted to go or not. Over the next coupl of days all I did was think about the trip. Finally Imade the decisoin not to go. When my uncle asked for my answer I told him I didn't want to go because I couldn't handle bieng away from my family that long. He said that he understood and went away by himself on the caravan.

I think that the most difficult pillars of Islam are traveling on a hajj to Mecca atleast once in your life. I think that is difficult, because of the journey. You are in the dessert for a week with alot of other people. You also have to walk alot during the hajj. We watched a video in class and alot of people were there on a hajj. Some people were complainig that it is very tiring. Another pillar that I think is difficult is fasting during Ramadan. I know I would get really hungry and thirsty. When you fas you have to go the entire day without eating. You could only eat before sunrise and after sunset.  You couldn't even drink water. Fasting would be really hard for me. Another pillar I think would be hard, is to pray five times a day. What if your really busy, and you forget. I'm really busy with home work and chores so I don't think I would remember to pray five times a day. Those are the pillars I think are most difficult.

Trade helped the religion of Islam spread in many ways. On the way to the trade centers the tarders would meet other merchants talk about different thing like their religion. So maybe the people they were telling about their religion to got interested in it, and wanted to become Muslim. Another way trade spread Islam is they brought inventions and ideas. When they showed other peopl their inventioons the people asked abotu them and they said they made it beecuase of their religion. I think it may have helped Islam spread by giving to the poor, or praying in front of people. That got other people interested people in what they were doing. So after they asked why they did what they did the Muslims explained it to them. The other people probably liked what they were doing and wanted to change to Islam. Those are the reasins on how tade helped Islam spread.

Muhammad was a very nice man. He helped the poor out alot. He fed them gave and some money to them. He even tried to get other wealthy merchants, like himself, to help them to. He wasn't selfish. He cared about others. He helped others in every way he could. I think the some people were interested in what he had to say, because he was nice to them. Even though he told them not to believe in all of those other gods, and just one they still listened to him.  Now others didn't like that. I think the poor listened to him because he helped them a lot, and they felt they should pay him back by listening to him. So that was why people were interested in listening to him.
